A new service giving non-regulated dealers free IAR status, 30 day free insurance for customers and access to additional revenue through GAP and SMART insurance sales, has been launched by insurethat, a major new force in the consumer insurance market.

The company is focussing on the UK car trade in a joint initiative with minor damage specialists Smart Insurance. According to insurethat Director of Sales Ben Lillywhite, “We’re giving dealers a package to drive sales and increase customer proposition, plus providing access to a lucrative new revenue stream not available to them until now.”

The new insurethat programme provides dealers with free IAR status and point of sale marketing material. To help car sales customers can be offered free 30 day GAP and SMART cover and benefit from healthy commissions simply by introducing their customers to insurethat. Once the vehicle has been purchased the company’s advisors contact the customer and compliantly offer ongoing Smart Insurance or GAP insurances at attractive rates.
